Hallie Pilcher Coreil, originally from Saint
Francisville, Louisiana, graduated magna
cum laude from the E.J. Ourso School of Business at Louisiana State
University in December 2007. In 2011, she obtained her Bachelor of Civil Law
Studies and Juris Doctorate from LSU’s Paul M. Hebert Law Center.
Hallie is admitted to practice before all
Louisiana Federal and State courts. Her professional memberships include the
Louisiana Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, the John M. Duhe
Jr. American Inn of Court, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. She is also an active member of the Lafayette Young
Lawyers Association and currently serves on the LYLA Board.
Hallie is very involved in the Lafayette
community. She volunteers time with organizations such as the Lafayette
Volunteer Lawyers and the Louisiana Center for Justice. Her community
involvement also extends through her membership of Lafayette’s Mardi Gras Krewe
of Bonaparte and the Preservation Alliance of Lafayette. In addition, Hallie is a licensed Realtor.
Her practice includes governmental liability and civil rights defense, including §1983 actions and constitutional issues. Her practice areas also include commercial and general liability defense, insurance coverage, automobile liability, and civil litigation. Her field of practice encompasses not only litigation, but also settlement of complex claims involving multiple stake-holders, including Medicare and Medicaid.
