Hallie Pilcher Coreil
Hallie P. Coreil practices general casualty and governmental liability litigation, with a particular interest in land use issues. She has given presentations and published articles on issues such as governmental takings and damages, and planning and zoning issues. In addition, she has significant trial court and appellate experience in both State and Federal courts.


Hallie is a graduate of LSU's E.J. Ourso School of Business and Paul M. Hebert School of Law. She is admitted to practice before all Louisiana Federal and State courts. Her professional memberships include the Louisiana Bar Association, the Lafayette Bar Association, the St. Landry Parish Bar Association, the John M. Duhe Jr., American Inn of Court, and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. She is an active member of the Lafayette Young Lawyers Association and currently serves on the  LYLA Board, where she is co-chair of the Awards and Grants Committee.


Hallie is very involved in the Lafayette community. She volunteers with many local organizations including the Lafayette Volunteer Lawyers and the Louisiana Center for Justice, and she is an active participant in the LVL Counsel on Call program. Her community involvement also extends through her membership in the 705 Club, Lafayette's Mardi Gras Krewe of Bonaparte, and the Preservation Alliance of Lafayette. In addition, Hallie is a licensed Realtor and member of the Realtor Association of Acadiana.


Hallie loves all things outdoors and is a member of the Coastal Conservation Association. She is happily married to a fellow lawyer and outdoorsman. They have one son.
