Charles J. Foret
Charles J. Foret attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette on an athletic scholarship and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration in 1977. In 1981, Mr. Foret earned a Juris Doctorate degree from Louisiana State University. Mr. Foret returned to Lafayette where he has remained during his entire legal career. He is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations, Lafayette Federal Bar Association, Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel, Defense Research Institute, and Transportation Lawyers Association.
Mr. Foret has represented both self-insured entities and insurance companies since beginning his practice in 1981. Mr. Foret defends claims for the Major Case Units of several large insurance carriers. The claims which he has handled over the years include class action litigation, catastrophic personal injury claims, large fire losses, and many types of claims for which insurance coverage is provided.
Mr. Foret has lectured both at firm sponsored seminars and seminars at the request of other associations. Mr. Foret has an AV Preeminent® Rating through Martindale Hubbell.
